Carefully baked
Domestic eel

Carefully selected domestic eels are steamed until plump, then dipped in a carefully selected secret sauce and grilled. This process is repeated three times to bring out the unique glossy finish of kabayaki.
We use rice from Yamagata, which has a strong stickiness and firm grains.
Please try Takanoya's proud eel.

Old houses in the city

Our store is a traditional townhouse built in 1927, with impressive eaves made using the "dashigeta" style of construction, giving the building a sense of its history.
This quaint store is housed in a former rice shop founded in 1868.
