Employee Interview

It's fun because you're left to your own devices.

Yakiniku Sakai Mr. S/Area Manager

I've been working in the yakiniku industry since I graduated, and this company has a lot of trust in the people on the front lines. For example, to maintain the quality befitting an all-you-can-eat domestic beef business, we work closely with our staff to carefully craft the menu, presentation, and operations. We foster a sense of "creating a good restaurant" throughout the team, by entrusting the role of checking the food not only to full-time employees but also to part-timers. We always base our standards on "what would I want to eat if I were a customer," and we don't compromise on that. The more experience you have, the more interesting you will find the sheer number of things you can do on the front lines.
The best part about this job is being able to use my abilities to create a store that is truly for the benefit of customers.
Another great thing about this job is that you can propose your own plans and events, which allows you to create a store that is more suited to your customers.

Create from scratch.
That's what makes it rewarding.

Omuraisutei Mr. M/General Manager

The AEON Mall Kumamoto store is the first Omuraisutei store to offer charcoal grilling. All hamburger steaks are hand-kneaded and made one by one in the store's kitchen.
When we opened, we literally started from scratch. With the help of staff from other restaurants, we all worked together little by little to set up the system and the flow of menu offerings.
Now, we can proudly say that this is the birthplace of charcoal grilling. The best reward is when customers tell us that the food was delicious. I believe this is a rewarding environment for those who enjoy taking on challenges even when there is no precedent, and who can work together as a team to grow the restaurant.
Developing each store will lead to the next store opening and contribution to the local community. These accumulated experiences will also become your own strength. We are looking for colleagues who can grow together in such an environment!

Facing each person,
Build the ideal team

Mr. W, Director of Nikusho Sakai Business Division

I am in charge of a wide range of tasks, including store operations, staff management, planning, recruitment, new store launches, and human resource training. One of the most challenging but rewarding tasks is "educating people." I value listening carefully to what others have to say and understanding their motivations for working. There is also an exceptional sense of accomplishment when we achieve the goals we set as a team. It is also my joy to help my colleagues' aspirations come true. The current staff are all caring and passionate people. We work together as a team to create the ideal store. I would like to continue to create an environment where people feel happy to work here.
